Chase’s film follows the story of a young frontman of a rock ‘n’ roll band in the 1960s. The coming-of-age movie is set in suburban New Jersey and stars John Magaro as the lead character. Chase also gets to work again with his Sopranos star James Gandolfini who is also in the cast. The actor is set to appear in the pilot of HBO’s Criminal Justice, his first lead role in a TV series since The Sopranos.

Jack Huston (Boardwalk Empire), Brad Garrett (Everybody Loves Raymond), and Bella Heathcote (Dark Shadows) complete the line-up.

As for those who have been requesting for a movie adaptation of The Soprano, Chase is not dismissing the idea.

He has told the producers that he wanted to make things as Norwegian as they can and to focus on the struggle that his character will go through in order to blend in the new culture he is in. The show will start to explore the differences between the Norwegian culture and the American Culture and the difference between Americans, Muslims and Europeans.

Lilyhammer is might lighter than The Sopranos but it does have a lot of allusions to the Sopranos. He made that happen by talking to the directors and discuss his time schedule with them. For instance he said that he will not be able to come on 4-5 months on a row but he can come every other week. He commented on this by saying that it is very fun to be the star because when you are wanted, people would start to re plan their schedule in order to fit yours.

Sciorra who was last seen as the mistress to Tony Soprano(as has Star Marguiles) on ‘The Sopranos’ , is all set to play an upstate, smart and tough lawyer in this guest appearance.Hopefully it will be a refreshing change for her as well as the viewers, post her last character hanging herself out of grief,post rejection from Tony on The Sopranos, to see her in this new avatar.

The actor, who is best known for his portrayal in the drama series, faces three years of imprisonement after he pleaded guilty of a extortion for enlisting an associate of Gambino crime family named Joseph Orlando. Borgese requested Orlando to collect $5,000 for him. According to investigations, Orlando got rid of the people involved who had a broken jaw and ribs after collecting the money from them. Borgese admitted that he had no idea that someone would get brutally attacked on the mentioned incident.

With his plead, Borgese’ original sentence was made lighter to house arrest and another two years of probation. He also has to complete sessions with youth groups as spokesperson to talk about the dangers of the life of a mob. Recently, Borgese already filmed a campaign about the said issue.

The first episode concerns a mob dispute. Others belong to the domestic problem genre. Schirrip is also a producer for the series of six shows.

According to Schirripa he would not have taken up this offer if it was only a mob story. He does not like playing a nasty guy. And this from someone whose career leapfrogged largely as a result of being part of the team that brought “The Sopranos” to life!

To give him his due though, it seems he is not interested in being type cast as a mob guy. This is why he has accepted roles both small and big that would give him an opportunity to show other facets of his acting skills. This has proved difficult though. People want him to play Bobby ‘Bacala’ [Baccalieri] for eternity. He would rather now turn to crime TV such as “Nothing Personal.”

Schirripa confesses that his audience has changed radically from the days of “Sopranos” to the present day “Real Life of the American Teenager,” which he is thoroughly enjoying. Look at the perks. He is now stopped on the road by teenage girls saying they like his show. Beats fat Italian guys hands down, what?
